Atila Mellilo

Atila Mellilo is the Senior Director of Halliburton-Landmark and leads the Reservoir Center of Excellence.

As CEO of Resoptima from 2016 until its acquisition by Halliburton in 2023, Mr. Mellilo spearheaded the development of innovative reservoir modeling technologies, enabling organizations to optimize revenue, save time, and reduce risk in reservoir management.

With a robust foundation in technology and strategy, he brings over 30 years of expertise spanning software development, oil & gas, and high-performance computing. Previously, he held pivotal roles at IBM, among others, and has been instrumental in advancing digital transformation in the energy sector.

Mr. Mellilo holds an EMP from INSEAD in France as well as computer science education from the Catholic University in Brazil.
