Kester Began his career as an Exploration Geologist at an independent operator before going on to specialize in seismic quantitative interpretation (QI), consulting and software development. He held a range of consulting, technical sales, product management and leadership roles and oversaw the design and commercial implementation of new technologies and techniques for applied seismic forward modelling, 3D/4D reservoir characterization and facies-based inversion of seismic data. He has published and presented at conferences around the world and advocated extensively for the use of advanced geophysics for geological characterization.
