Current Job Title is Head of Petroleum Monitoring Group in the Petroleum Technology and Operation Supervision Division, Department of Mineral Fuels, Ministry of Energy, Thailand. His
responsibility is to Monitor and supervision on all Thailand petroleum operations that relevant to the Petroleum Point of Sale, Petroleum Measuring and sale, also maintenance and calibration of the Metering Skids.

In 1996, He graduated the Bachelor degree (BSc. Geology) from the Chiangmai University in Thailand. Afterward, Mr. Tananchai had joined the Department of Mineral Resources. Then in 2004, he achieved the Master of Science, MSc. Geology, from the University of Aberdeen (the University and King’s College of
Aberdeen), Scotland, UK.

Later, he came back to work for Thai government in the Department of Mineral Fuels (DMF). Mr. Tananchai use his expertise as a Senior Professional Geologist to carry on his career in Petroleum E&P business. His research as a result of his
extensive knowledge, regarding to subsurface geology in Thailand and vicinity area is cited in many international journals. Mr. Tananchai also diversifies his subject of interest on cross-sectoral collaboration between inter-government organizations such as ASCOPE, AFOC under ASEAN cooperation. Of which, his initiation on CCUS cooperation in ASEAN and Clean Coal Technology study are currently on stream at the moment.
