APGCE GeoHackathon 2024 will pit the brightest minds in geoscience and data technology in a challenge to tackle some of the most pressing issues in earth sciences. Whether you are a seasoned geoscientist or a passionate data enthusiast, the APGCE GeoHackathon offers an enriching platform to showcase your skills, innovate with data, and challenge others in creating real solutions!

What is GeoHackathon?

A big data analytics and machine learning based competition using actual geoscience/ subsurface data.

Objectives

Platform for Geoscientist and Data Scientists:

To learn, innovate and create effective solutions on real G&G subsurface data using artificial intelligence and data analytics tools.
To come up with solutions that help address complex big data challenges.

When?

16 - 18 November 2024 (Saturday - Monday)

Where?

Common Ground Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

How to join?

Register as an Individual OR form a group of five (5) diverse members with inter-discipline combination of Geoscience and Data Science.

Hackathon format

48-hour non-stop time to generate and execute solutions via Microsoft Azure virtual machine with the support of mentors.
