Adiana was appointed as Head Governance & Strategic Relations (GSR), Malaysia Petroleum Management in 2024. She is responsible to lead, strategise, and govern the overall Petroleum Arrangement Contractors (PACs), drive MPM’s stakeholders’ relations with the industry, local and foreign authorities and agencies, as well as promote synergies across the value chain to safeguard PETRONAS’ interest while ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.
Adiana joined PETRONAS in 1999 and has held various roles within Strategic Planning, Petroleum Economics and Commercial. She was also assigned as Head, Legal and Corporate Affairs at PETRONAS Carigali Iraq Operations, General Manager (GM) of Commercial International and GM of Commercial for MPM. Prior to assuming her current role in MPM, she assumed the role of Senior General Manager, Commercial Malaysia in 2023, leading commercial strategy and solutioning, and driving commercial negotiations of new and existing assets for Malaysia petroleum arrangements including Upstream Gas Sales Agreements (UGSAs).
Amongst her notable achievements include completing extensions for blocks in South Sudan; acquisitions in Abu Dhabi and Brazil, Unitisation Agreement between Malaysia and Brunei and award of the first Small Field Asset Production Sharing Contract (PSC) in Malaysia.
Adiana graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA.
