Marco Buijnsters
Vice President
IPMA
Over the last 40 years Marco Buijnsters has been acting as a project manager, manager of project managers, operations and general manager throughout the world. And more recently as project management consultant, trainer, coach and auditor. Currently he is an advisor on audit and quality in a > € 10 billion civil engineering programme in The Netherlands.
Marco is also senior lecturer project management at Delft Technical University (NL) and project management expert in ISO TC258 project, programme and portfolio management standards development. Next to that he has been actively involved in IPMA Netherlands for almost 30 years and over 15 years in IPMA international in various roles and is currently Vice President Projects of IPMA International.
Marco holds a mechanical engineering degree from Tilburg Institute of Technology (NL) and a Master of Business Administration degree from Warwick University (UK).
