Abdul Qavi is an associate partner and one of the energy leaders with the global consulting firm McKinsey and Company, Kuala Lumpur.
He brings over 18 years of global experience, including a decade at Shell in leadership positions. As Senior Petroleum Engineer and Front End development Manager, he delivered production targets in Qatar, Iraq, Kazakhstan etc. In his role as strategic advisor in Head Quarters, he influenced growth oppportunities with in Shell’s extensive Global portfolio. He was responsible for analysing commercial deals and technical options for robust FIDs, followed by setting up organisation and management systems for efficient exploration and development campaigns.
