Mr. Aidil Shabudin is currently the Head of Resource Development & Management (RDM) in Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), PETRONAS.
He graduated with a BSc in Chemical Engineering & Petroleum Refining from the Colorado School of Mines. He has also been appointed as the Skill Group Advisor for the Petroleum Engineering fraternity in PETRONAS and actively participates in key programmes and initiatives of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and other professional bodies in the industry.
Aidil focuses on maximising value generation through fields development & further development, production surveillance & optimisation, development project execution and drilling/wells-related aspects for all oil & gas fields in Malaysia. Additionally, the purview also extends to promotions and establishing petroleum arrangements for Discovered Resource Opportunities (DRO) as well as Production Sharing Contract (PSC)

He has more than 30 years of experience in the oil & gas industry with assignments encompassing technical, commercial, operational and various aspects of the business, both in Malaysia and overseas.
