Plan, implement and monitor the analysis and findings, as well as providing relevant insight, which is one of the inputs for business decision-making in accordance to the business plan, and recommend business opportunities to the Management of iCEP in order to add value to stakeholders whilst meeting the business and stakeholders’ requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Research & Trends
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market shifts, and competitors’ activities to provide economic analysis, strategic insights and to prepare presentation/communication materials to internal and external stakeholders e,g. Head of Section, Head of Department, iCEP Leadership Team, the Board, Events Owners and other stakeholders that are relevant to the iCEP services.
- Examine and validate the accuracy of the information in support for impactful analysis and insights.
- Track the performance of market trends over time, assessing potential opportunities and risks.
- Conduct interviews, focus groups, and other qualitative research methods to support quantitative data.
- Analyse both primary and secondary data from diverse sources, including surveys, reports, social media, and market data by using mathematical/statistical/ analytical models/ analytics tools to interpret large datasets, find patterns and generate report that may reveal business opportunities.
- Prepare economic business model in support of organisation long-term business goals and sustainability. Stay up-to-date with the latest research methodologies, tools, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Content Management- Plan and develop communication material which consist of (not limited to) detailed trend reports and presentations in a clear, concise and actionable formal.
- Communicate findings to Head of Section, Head of Department, Leadership Team, cross-functional teams and other applicable key stakeholders and to provide insights in facilitating business decision-making and strategic decision.
- To interpret data timely and effectively in meetings and during sharing sessions and explain its value from a business perspective and from customer lenses i.e. events owners.
3. Business Planning & Strategy- Plan and monitor the implementation business plan and strategy for iCEP, encompassing the business objective, direction, product development through thorough and in-depth assessment including benchmarking, market and financial analysis and risk assessment, competitors’ analysis, market segmentation and identifying target market groups in securing maximum sales garnered for iCEP as well as to achieve the desired business objectives and deliverables.
4. Business Development
- Plan, implement and monitor the development of growth strategy in identifying new business opportunities, planning and positioning in the appropriate markets through benchmarking and research on future trending that supports sound business making.
5.Project Management- Responsible to ensure the successful execution of conference/events by integrating research-driven insights with structured project management approaches, aligning with the company’s vision for growth and efficiency.
